Krøderbanen Historic Steam Engine
Historic train journey for the whole family
The Krøderbanen railway was opened in 1872 as a narrow gauge railway and was converted to standard gauge in connection with the opening of the Bergen Line in 1909. As an NSB railway, it was closed in 1985. Since then, the railway has been operated as a museum railway by the Norwegian Railway Club and the Krøderbanen Foundation. Both rolling stock and fixed installations along the line are maintained in a contemporary style. The Krøderbanen railway is also a centre for the restoration and maintenance of museum railway material.
